Voice Gateways

Voice gateways allow you to interact with E811 data systems wherever your mobile phone works! Mobile phone networks constitute the largest addressable wireless network in the world. Interactive voice services leverage this network to provide access to key computer systems that is almost seamless.

Voice gateway solutions are useful when mobile users need instant access to current data, or have simple data to report or process, but don't have immediate access to a computer network. This capability is especially useful for emergency response or field damage surveys, where the location is unpredictable, but the information can be easily categorized.

E811 uses the open Voice XML standard to develop flexible speech recognition applications that allow voice users to interact in real time with corporate data systems. Custom VXML interfaces are available as a low-cost addition to an E811 solution.
